Bernard Liengme attended Imperial College in London and received a BS and PhD in Chemistry. He also received post-docs at Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburg and the University of British Columbia. He has conducted extensive research in surface chemistry and Mossbauer Effect. He has been at St Francis Xavier University in Canada since 1968 as professor, Associate Dean and Registrar as well as teaching chemistry and computer science. Microsoft Excel MVP
Damon Longworth is the conference chair. He has a B.S. in Accounting from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He developed his spreadsheet skills using Excel in the accounting field for more than 15 years. He is recognized by Microsoft with their MVP award in Excel.  
Jon Peltier has 23 years experience in Research and Development and in Manufacturing. He has a Doctor of Science in Metallurgy from MIT, minor program in Statistics. His experience includes Design of Experiments, Six Sigma, and Total Quality tools. Jon is the Technical Editor for John Walkenbach's Excel Charts and one of only 75 Microsoft Excel MVPs worldwide.
Bob Umlas is a Microsoft Excel MVP (Most Valuable Professional) and has been since the inception of the program in 1995. He has worked with MS Excel since version 0.99 (on the Mac). He was contributing editor to Excellence Magazine, having written >300 Excel articles. He has recently written "This isn't Excel, it's Magic!" -- a book of 85 tips & tricks that are not easy to find elsewhere!
